Today I had the chance to take a peek into a regular day in a kingfisher`s day. It`s astonishing how good is this bird at fishing. On the bottom picture you can see six successful fishing trips. Might be that I even missed some.

You can also see a little video clip here. I would like to point out that there are two different birds in this clip - the first with a little fish is a female and a moment later a male kingfisher lands on the branch.
